Drives Wanted: SVTOA On Track, Sept 15 & 16, Hallett, OK
Still looking for MORE track time?? SVTOA Central Region is putting on an SVTOA On Track Performance Driving Clinic, September 15 & 16 at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit, just west of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
This event is open to all makes and models of vehicles, and it doesn't matter if you're a complete novice or a seasoned track dog, we'll have separate run groups based upon your level of experience and plenty of in-car instructors for the novices and anyone who may want one.
Cost is $240 for two days and includes dinner Saturday evening.
And the best part: we're planning on running the track counter-clockwise on Saturday and clock-wise on Sunday! Two days to learn and enjoy two different tracks!
You can go to www.svtoaok.com to get information or go to www.svtoa.motorsportreg.com to register on line. Here is a link to the event flyer: http://www.svtoaok.com/docs/2007_Hal...lyer_fixed.pdf
Hope to see you at Hallett!

Come on out...you WON'T be disappointed.
Peformance driving on a road course is addictive... alot of fun... addictive... skills you can use on the street... and addictive.
Did I mention that it's addictive?
I'd be happy to answer any and all questions about these kinds of events, or if you've read any of my columns in MM&FF, you should already have a good idea what we do.
Hope to see you there!
Jeff

I can't make it out but i'm more of a straight line guy. However Paul and Jeff are twisty curvy fellas they might go?
#16

#17
Not going to make it.... Im a straight line guy like David... some day I will brave the twisties just not that weekend
#18
Jarrod... you're anything but straight...
#19
ya, jarrod, you might be metro at the least
unless you have had moderate suspension work, the drags are way more fun than the road track in a mustang, now in a STI the road track would be a blast!

The new stangs aren't that bad on the track. lowering and different (wider) tires, and good brake shore are really all you need to have a decent road car.
The sn095 and fox bodies... not so much. Alot of modding to make those into good turners.
