Did he have home owners insurance? does it cover fire? I hear that in cali most insurance is extra for fire protection.

 

Not sure if he had insurance...even so..it will take a while for the insurance to take effect with so many people being effected. For right now it gives them some money for clothes, hotel, food, and other ammenites. theres no telling how long they will be without a home.
