Unfort... Tenkiller use to be prety decent. That's where I got cert. years ago. However, years of chicken poo has made the alge bloom like crazy. Sad...

We do all of training at Beaver Lake (Yes! Dive Beaver!) in Arkansas. Depending on the time of year and depth, the viz is still good. Up to 20ft at 30 ft depth. then there is a thermocline and a layer of 5-10ft viz. After that you can have anywhere from 30 -100ft viz. the deeper the better the viz but the deeper the colder it gets...

 

Yep Beaver Lake is good. That's where we'll train...

My ideal place is where I can ski down a mountain right onto a race track, that leads to a beach with awesome shore diving...

If you know of a place... i'll buy it hands down!

 

its called The United Arab Emerites...they have a man made ski resort about 2 miles from beautiful ocean waters

Christy & I are already certified and READY TO GO!!! Our last diving was in St. Croix - it was awesome.

We got certified at Poseiden Adventures. We were crazy and did the "all in one weekend" deal at Beaver Lake. We were worn out at the end, but it was fun.

We dived in Hawaii and in St Croix. We tried to get our daughters certified in St Croix, but one was too young and her ears wouldn't equalize, and the other was just too scared.

We are dying to go diving again. In St Croix, I went over a wall that drops off to 10,000 ft deep. It was kinda scary, but I just stayed focused on the wall and was fine.
