BMMC Questions

Ok, I have a ton of questions about the BMMC..

Are there any dues?

Do we have cool matching jackets?

About how many cars show up per event?

Why '05 and newer? I saw there is a Green Country Mustangs group - do we ever hook up?

I drive by CarFX daily - anyone in the group work there?

And finally.. Why does Ford call YELLOW "Grabber Orange"?

Are there any dues? Yes. $20 per year. That includes a cool BMMC T-Shirt and automatic entry to all event give-a-ways. Extra shirts are $15.

Do we have cool matching jackets? Nope. But we're thinking about getting matching undies!!

About how many cars show up per event? Varies on the event. But we've had up to 15 ish. We are not a Car Cult. People can attend the events they want. No pressure. We like it that way. The goal is to have fun. (Remember we've only been doing this for the past year)

Why '05 and newer? I saw there is a Green Country Mustangs group - do we ever hook up? Yes they do. We have a lot of people that like the fact that it's only 2005 +. Also, Green Country is mainly a car show club. we try to mix things up. We do Car Shows, Drag and Road Racing Events, Cruises, Overnight trips, Tech Days, etc. Something for everyone.

I drive by CarFX daily - anyone in the group work there? Nope... And we do 95% of our mods ourselves. Most of this is done during Club Tech Days. If's fun and TONS CHEAPER than CarFX. Not to mention the quality is better.

And finally.. Why does Ford call YELLOW "Grabber Orange"? I'll let Jarrod or Doc comment on this...

Do we have cool matching jackets? No but we have cool matching T-Shirts!!! Paul you dont have the undies??

About how many cars show up per event? Depends on whos available. Everything is optional...so no pressure to absolutely be there

Why '05 and newer? I saw there is a Green Country Mustangs group - do we ever hook up? We went to an event that the green Country mustang club attended.... I didnt see anyone under the age of 75...so I passed on that when I had the chance

I drive by CarFX daily - anyone in the group work there? CarFX tends to have extremely high prices for work you can do yourself...also you could purchase the items they sell from a vendor cheaper than what they would sell it to you for.

And finally.. Why does Ford call YELLOW "Grabber Orange"?
And finally... great question...its more of a set-up than a question.... because it brings out the jelousy in people.... they love the color and like to downgrade it to make up for the boring car color that they chose.... I saw 912 black mustangs with stripes just coming to work this morning. I guess it just takes a man of courage...a man of stature and pride to own a "yellow" car they call Grabber Orange

Oh heres a couple of pics of the Eureka cruise....it was a blast!

ALSO a couple of car show pics

Just giving you a hard time. I used to be a Shriner and had a Yellow Corvette minicar. Me and one other guy had yellow cars and took a ton of grief for it. We called our color "Crowd-Pleasing Yellow".

All good questions Bob. The answers were right on except the one about the Y E L L O W ! ! ! ! car. What sort of things have you done to your car so far and what do you have planned for the future?

I really have no plans to change it yet. We are still loving it just how it is. I don't want to get too crazy with it, as it is my wife's daily driver. In about a year or so, we plan to buy her a cheap, high gas mileage car to drive back & forth to work - then we'll look at modifying the GT.

Christy, on the other hand, is already asking me about superchargers...

Nope. All you need is a 2005+ Mustang, a great attitude and a williness to have some fun.

You have too much fun J-Rod, at the expense of others. You are a car club bully. I'm telling my mommy on you.
