I'm going for the MGW shifter myself (once the car gets here, of course...), but hear good things about the pro 5.0 and billet hurst.

yes i agree it is unbalanced, alot of people dont notice it, but its an expensive hobby. Im working out of town for about a year so i had to store the car and put project on hold, im hoping i can buy bits & pieces here & there , like the shifter, so thanks for the input & shifter info.

I know what you mean about the piece meal method -- I want a different front, spoiler, side skirts, and bumper, but altogether will cost around $1500, plus the painting! Like to do all at once, but that's alot.
How much did your paint work cost? You get the impression it'd be cheaper to have all the painting done at once or no big difference to do piece by piece?

getting my paint work done was a nightmare, i went to three different shops to get it done right. the second guy didnt clean the parts right , so all the paint peeled off. so $2500 dollars later it was done right. the last guy charged $1400 to fix paint & install, he pulled the vin & and ordered paint through ford , to get the best paint match. most of the reputable shops would not touch the body kit they said they never fit right. my advice would be do alot of research on the parts u buy & the paint shop. nobody should have to go through that with there new car.

i got most of my parts here, hood , bumper, spoiler, & a couple of little dress up pieces, now i have to go through the aggravation of having parts painted again, so hopefully if everything goes right in a couple of weeks i can have the exterior complete, except for wheels.
