Exhaust
they say an X-pipe will give a more raspy sound, in combination with straight-through "can" mufflers; might give you what you are looking for . . . I think I would start with that, before moving on to more expensive projects like headers

It all depends on whether running the stock exhaust or an aftermarket off-road/high-flow catted setup. If retaining the stock cats, an X crossover doesn't sound nearly as raspy when compared to running an off-road, mid-pipe setup. For my application, I run the "Pypes" cut n clamp X pipe to the stock cat down pipes with Borla ATAK axle backs. Other than just a slightly higher exhaust tone over an H-pipe, I don't really notice very much rasp at all. However, if running a high-flow catted or off-road X setup without adding mid-mounted resonators/mufflers? you'll more than likely encounter increased sound levels of rasp for sure lol.

Kevin! When I first stumbled upon that post, I honestly wasn't quite certain if it was spam or not... After checking the suspected spammer's birthdate as being prior to 1990, I figured that I would give the benefit of doubt by awaiting a response before banning them.... Meanwhile, thanks for confirming my suspicions by eliminating yet another spammer...
