2005 GT Rear Valance addition?

So, I have a 2005 Candy Apple Red 4.0L V6, and I'm looking to put a true dual exhaust on it. The problem I'm having currently is simply finding a GT rear valance.

I know that cutting into the bumper is also an option, it just seems like the GT rear valance would be a cleaner option and much cheaper than buying an entire new GT bumper cover.

Does anyone know where I can find a stock new pull off GT rear valance (painted or unpainted does not matter) and how much it would run me?

Or, if you prefer the cutting method, can you post a picture of your cut-job and advise me on how to do so effectively and cleanly?

Thanks much!

Post Welcome!!!

OK, first thing...
2005 did not offer that color red.
Is it a 2005? If so...
Is it Redfire Metallic like my V6 or the non metallic Torch red?
2nd, There is no 2005-2009 GT valance (only a full bumper cover).
It used to be those GT bumpers were everywhere until 2009.
Now the take-offs pretty much don't exist.
Junkyard wreck?
A lot of people have had good luck just cutting the V6 bumper.
If it doen't work out, then go buy a GT cover.

New part unpainted (probably well over $100 shipping)

There is also this (unpainted):

Talk about embarassment Yes, it is actually Redfire. That is my mistake completely.

I thought there was something funny about the way a GT bumper looked for there to be a valance, but I went with whatever the internet told me.. (should have known that was a bad idea.)

I still would like to find a bumper cover, but surprisingly you can't find many Mustang GT's in junkyards around Tennessee :/ Sooo..

I guess I will try the cutting method first as you've suggested and go from there. I had planned on keeping the back looking stock-ish so I wasn't exactly looking for a Roush or anything, but I actually like the blacked out lower lip of that valance you suggested.

Thanks for all your help and sorry again for the misplacement.. that is really embarassing.

Make sure you read my post on True dual exhaust before you order a kit from Newtakeoff.com.

That's crazy that Pypes would do that in the first place, and then not admitting their mistake is even worse.

There is a local business down where I live call Quik Muffler that'll do it for around 200-300 cat back for me, including the x-pipe. I'll have a quick talk with them about it before they go into the actual install.

Thanks so much to both of you for your help.
