I know this is a pretty general question, but does anyone have any insite on what the perspective from Japan is on this car?

 

I don't even know what America thinks of this car

 

This is a very odd question!

 

Having been to japan and doing an intensive research with in depth analysis on the question. I believe that japanese thinks that the ford shelby gt500kr is in the same family as the mustang.

 

My guess is that most folks in Japan haven't even heard of the 500KR yet.

But IIRC, the Japanese seem to have a fondness for old American muscle cars.

 

I'm not sure about Japan. But, while Nancy Pelosi was in Syria, she and Basher Al-Asad had a joint statement released about the KR. They quote, "The Shelby GT 500 will kick camel a$$" Even though they both hate America, they still believe it's an awesome car.

probably the same what they think about Corvette, 800 Corvettes were sold in Japan in the first four months of the previous year, they were expected to be sold in a year...

 

from the way it looks like.. the japs just love cars.. anything that has a certain level of awesomeness gets some love there.. they dont necessarily like tauruses though ...

 

I am dont know what they think about the mustang but they are hogging up the charger tho....
A friend of mine aution cars and he told me the japs are buying the charger up the ying-yang.....

yeah the businessmen there love cars they are a sign of status to own an imported dream car like the shelby gt500 I saw one guy had bought one for some insane amount that turned out to be like 175,000 and that was even low for over in that area, hongkong, and china also apparently love american cars
