It looks good, don't get me wrong, but for some reason I just don't think it has quite the appeal of the silver one.

Why don't the strips go all the way down the hood? Weird.

I think it is suppose to say SHELBY on the front of the hood or at least the Silver and Blue one does.

yup those covers are crap.
I don't get what makes this car "look" so badass..I mean it's a gt500 with a new hood lower grille and some rims..other than that it's looks are bone stock...oh it must be those atrocious sail window covers

those window covers are so stupid. but vents or scoop or somthing if you are going to block the window. If not then give me my dam window.

The car looks awesome regardless though.

Pretty darn hot overall. At least I now know what those wheels will look like on my car.

I think it'd look better without the Lemans stripes!

Yes, they (Letters) should be there. Perhaps they will be part of a trim package on a Production Model and this one may be a Test or Pre-Production one.

They not supposed to start rolling off until December.

I thought the show car had 20" and the production car had 18"
I guess I won't wait for an 18" version. What size are the tires?

For me the hood, lowered stance, and large wheels fix my three main gripes with the GT500. Granted, the two latter issues are pretty easy to fix on a standard GT500, but it is nice to see a car that comes with those issues having already been addressed.

That said I would be more likely to buy a GT500, lower it a bit myself, buy a set of wheels and tires of my choosing, and hold my breath until somebody makes an exact knockoff of the GT500 hood than buy GT500KR. And at least then I wouldn't have to live with the goofy sail cover panels. Now if a GT500 could just be had with spoiler delete.

Amy B keeps saying they are putting scoops on the rear windows on the SS and KR but they keep putting this covers on there that look like crap. This car may say KR but with 20's and the covers on the windows it says I am an SS with a KR stripe down the middle.

Well, it is wearing the KR hood too, and not the SS piece. Perhaps they are toying with making the 20's an option.
