SS and KR confusion..
Ok so Im confused. What separates the two? I know the KR is supposed to be Factory only and that the SS is the shelby one. What about the engines? Sizes? HP? What kind of $$ are we talkin for each?

I originally thought the KR would be entirely built at AAI, but according to the press release, not.
Each Shelby GT500KR begins life as a GT500, built at AutoAlliance International Inc., in Flat Rock, Mich. From there, the cars are shipped to Shelby Automobile’s facility in Las Vegas, where a Ford Racing performance pack, exhaust system and short-throw shifter are installed. The GT500KR also is fitted with body, chassis and interior components. Every GT500KR will be hand customized and delivered to each customer in an enclosed transporter, just like the legendary Ford GT.

Wow sounds like quite a bit of moving around before completion. It kind of adds to the excitement though too knowing that it has to go through all of that to become the KR
