It's a ****ing Shelby with a CAI and new hood. I wouldnt pay more an extra $5k for the "KR" treatment.

I thought I read somewhere that it was about 12K for more the KR. Then you'll have to deal with the dealer mark-up.

I bet you are looking at 12-15 over the price of the regular GT500.

Just got back from NYAS and the rep I spoke with was telling me that msrp was around 50k.

he also said expect dealers to charge 100-125k for the car. Wouldnt suprise me in the least.

If you thought the GT500s were insanely priced, just wait... I'd say, out the door, 80-90ish. For that much, there are too many other cars, and houses, out there that are MUCH better.

If you could get one at MSRP and could make 40k by selling it, would you keep it or sell it? I'll bet 50% of us would sell it. 40k is hard to pass up for the ordinary Joe.

Yes... but this is going to be 1 of 1000... So you know what that means! Insane mark-ups!

I hate to see the insane mark-ups, but then I think about how nobody would ever pay a 40k mark-up for something like a Toyota and it makes me feel a little better.

It's all about waiting, eventually the dealers will have to lower their prices, in the meantime, I need to buy some lottery tickets..

Agree. I was thinking a MSRP of around $60k, before dealers drive this up to over $100,000 with adm.
The car has alot of extras besides the tune & cai:
Forged wheels (these are verrrry cool, lots of detail)
Lowered susp.
Custom interior bits (lots)
Bigger Wheels & Tires
Different Hood & front dam (Carbon)
Frpp bits all over the car

Let's not forget that these will all ship to Vegas & then to the dealers...If it does end up at around $60,000 it's not unreasonable, based on the pricing delta from a 'regular' GT500....
