More updates.....we are building the bracing between the rocker and subframe connectors....This is not a kit, this is our own in house creation.

Yes, we based it off the old Kenny Brown Extreme Matrix system that is no longer available....although we extended the jacking rail and added another support(not in picture as we had not completed it yet) that goes to the rear frame rail. Since the car is torn down to nothing we also tacked the floor pan to the jacking rail as well as the rocker panel which with an assembled car is something you can't do without removing the carpet and scraping away seam sealer and removing factory sound deadening. The steel we used also has a wall thickness about twice of what the Kenny Brown system used.

We are also going to weld up the body in strategic places for added strength.

Well after we welded in the proper mounting nuts and fitted the IRS, we removed the IRS and spent MANY hours sanding and prepping the bottom of the car so that we could apply the etching primer. Here we are with the Valspar DTM primer applied to the bottom of the car. Prepping the bottom of a car is FAR more time consuming due to the nooks and crannies that you have to get into.

Wow, with the age of the Foxes getting up there we may start seeing more of these ground-up restos in the near future. Would love to do that w/mine (and delete the d*** airbag)! Now, if only Vegas would be so kind...
