I'll be there to lend support and leave before everyone else does.

Same here. I'll show up but I'm not entering. I think I've officially done my last show. There's just no new or interesting mod ideas to be had from looking at the car's there. So the show's become little more than parking next to a bunch of mustangs for a day then waiting to see if you win. Then of course there's the day long worth of detailing required.

Quit your whining Leo, it's only $25 including a free shirt.
The one show I can make and Leo backs down. Afraid of getting 2nd?

j/k man.. lunch logistics at the show will suck. Nothing is within walking distance that's worthwhile. Guess we'll all have to pile in Leo's and Brian's car.

Truth be told I might not show up at all. If I'm down in Hawthorne for the weekend I'll go. If I'm in SD the chances of me going decrease significantly. Show's like Mustangs at the Bay or the Halloween show I'll consider but stuff like the Queen Mary and Sunset where there's nothing else nearby I refuse to do. It's just to much time in parking lot.

well my outlooks isn't as bleak as Leo's. I'll do shows as they are for the most part fun to hang out. But that's about it. This one in particular, I refuse to do because you gotta jump through hoops and register with ANOTHER web site just to sign up .

I thought it wasn't the competition but hanging out with friends ??

But in all honestly how can a regular person compete, since you've done a few things to your car above and beyond you now qualify to be put next to a SEMA car or a car that was built by a shop or a car that someone was paid to build or sponsored cars?? What's the point in competing against increasingly overwhelming odds ??

Not that your car isn't great, it is. But it pales in comparison to what "shops" can and will do.

I'll be there, I still have fun at these shows, I don't go for the award mostly for the camaraderie plus car show's force me to clean my car!

Oh I know that first hand, I got creamed at the SD show.

Leo knows I'm kidding, we've always had this friendly competition from part of 06 thru 07.

The Sunset show is more about nostalgia for me. It was the first show I attended after getting my Stang.

Hi Koji you missed a fun cruise! We plan to do another one soon.

Does this look familiar...

Yeah, Bill (Lohr), I also regret being unable to participate in the cruise. Did you see your name being mentioned on the goroush.com website? And thanks for the photos of the kiddies! They're an expensive pit crew and I can't even fire them! But sooner or later, they're gonna run out of things to do as they would have rubbed off the clear coat by then.

And Bill ("Taco Bill"), I hope to meet you soon when I don't have the kids in tow... What ride did you come in? I didn't even have a chance to walk around...

See y'all Sunday...

I was parked across the driveway from you. It's the candy cane looking car.

I hope it doesn't rain Sunday...

Dang, you and Bill Lohr have some SERIOUS moolah invested into your rides! And being the old guy that I am, I just realized that on the left column, there's a small number "6" linking you to your gallery... Duh.

See ya there...
