yeah I saw that car from a distance on the way to lunch and then I bounced afterwards, the ducktail looked interesting from where I was standing though.

This reminds my of my First car '72 Torino Gran Sport. Except No vinyl top and it had a 429, stock. Don't see too many of
those around

From: That town you drive through to get to Myrtle Beach
Wow, that is a good looking car. Rare too, I believe? Probably almost as rare as this Superbird I saw at a car show in Myrtle Beach a while back. Sorry that the pic is a little blurry.
That Talladega is owned by my ex Father-in-Law. I helped with the initial build so he could take it to the winged warrior event in Talladega, Alabama. He then dismantled the car again for paint, minor motor mods and some dyno time. Most of the parts on the car are late model Nascar parts bought from ebay. The heads are actually D port on the intake and the tourque box intake was epoxied to match the intake ports on the heads. The valve covers are mag instead of aluminum. There is so much detail in this car its hard to believe. He is thinking about running it at the silver state to see what it will do but for now is just taking it around the country to certain shows. It made only about 600Hp but made 700 foot pounds of torque. Needles to say he has a very supporting wife and so really good friends that have helped him along the way.
Will it be back next year??? Hope to see it again!!!!
Man, those are awesome pics. And yes, that Talledega is really awesome. And the numbers...well they speak for themselves. Even with todays technology, it's taking quite a bit to get those numbers out of the blown 5.4s in the GT500s.
I'm sure it will be back next year. He has no intentions of getting rid of the car. It took him close to 10 years to get it where it is at now. It will be in a couple magazines and has to go to a suspension shop to get tuned for a track test. He takes it to Giovani's off of Harbor for the cruise nights and already won best of show there.
He was hoping for 800Hp but the tourque box intake would not allow it. It did do its job at making gobs of tourque though.
