Zero Throttle Response?

Driving along last night, stop at a redlight & the wrench lights up along with check engine light. Mustang wouldn't rev up or go faster then 5 mph. I put the gas pedal to the floor and nothing. Anyone ever have this problem? Any suggestions/solutions?

You're going to have to get the code pulled, maybe go to autozone.

Ugh. I installed a BBK throttle body a couple of months ago but it's been running fine since. I wonder if that did something

Yes it is limp mode , but if you stop and shut the car off for a couple of minutes the car will run normal again , that is until what ever is causing the problem occurrs again. Had it happen quite a few times to me after installing my S/C ...

Well the BBK throttle body I installed was the culprit. I took it apart & there was no resistance in the flap mechanism. I just readjusted the spring & installed it again. No CEL & seems to be working fine.
