Is your 05 out of warranty?

I hit 36k a few weeks ago on the way to Orlando.
Has anyone else driven theirs over the warranty?
Got mine 12-20-04.

Oh and still not even the hint of a problem- still drives like the day I got her.

I got mine on July 9th 2005.
I haven't hit 12,000 miles yet (11,145 actual miles) and so far its also been problem free ever since.
Did you get an extended warranty, just in case?
I'm definitely going to look into getting one when it gets closer to then end of the factory warranty because you just never know.
My other car, 350Z, had no major problems during its factory warranty period, but now that its done I have a few issues that could've been taken care of had I gotten an extended warranty.
I'm kicking myself for not getting one. Oh well. You live you learn.

Yes, 3 years or 36k, whatever comes first. drivetrain and emissions equimpment is longer. Look at your owners manual

I'd have to look but I'm thinking mine is 7 years/70k whichever comes first. I'm at just over 12k, bought dec. 15, 2004.

I bought the extended warranty...because it's a ford.

I always wonder if extended warrantys are a good buy or not. FWIW my wife's Explorer got 36200 miles and had a $550 electrical issue. 200 miles out of warranty after having no problems for the first 36000.

The 06 has the extended warranty. It seems good so far. Good thing with its transmission troubles also.
I did not get the extended warranty, because if something breaks, I will trade my car in. Plus I was somewhere on the Florida turnpike when I realized I his 36,000 miles and by then it was over.

My car is a road tripper- Thats how I racked up so many miles in less than 2 years.

Took delivery 11-26-04 and am sitting at 37k. Battery had to be replaced at 35920 miles. I've had a few problems, rear-end noise, seat covers loose, and fuel tank issue. But, I still have the ability to roll down the windows from the key-fob! The above issues were minor; nothing more than me being picky for the most part.

So, have you ever had the windows go down on their own? My Global Open feature on my 05 just needs to be activated, because it has all the components and software needed. I just can't find a dealer that will do it for me. Local dealers that have done it in the past for other owners, will no longer do it.

I'm at about 32k. Had an extra year and 12k added to it when I picked it up because of that Fiasco I had at Walker Ford. Some of you remember when they drove my car in a parade before I picked it up.....and lied, etc., etc.
Anyway - no issues at all. Drives great. Well - if I were home it would. I'm in Iraq right now so its sitting in the garage.

I got 7 years warranty on my F-150 when I bought it last summer, and it was around $30/month. Since I don't drive much (~3,000 miles in 15 months), I think it was good buy.

Took delivery 10/18/05 and as of the beginning of this we were just over 35k miles. (80 miles/day round trip for work)
