Throw-out bearing

What are the symptoms/sounds on the five-speed gearbox if the throw-out bearing is beginning to fail?

other stick vehicles ive had rattled- either foot on or off the clutch, and quieted the other way...the clutch pedal had a vibration from the rough bearing also when holding it down.

I drove mine for the first time in a couple weeks(rain washed salt away a couple days ago), noticed a rattle at idle...pressing the clutch, put in gear it quieted, but clutch felt smooth...sounds more like the transmission input shaft rattling on this one, as if pulled to neutral with the clutch pressed, the rattle returns.

my f150 started leaking at the slave- bad throwout likely ran hot/damaged seals...was surprised on the f150 how cheep the throwout slave/bearing looked, mostly plastic assembly...

They usually make a ringing noise when you let up on the clutch. Sometimes they start squealing when really bad.
