Spare parts to bring back to Europe?

Hey all!

During this coming October, I will move back to Sweden (from Maryland) and of course bring back my 06 GT. Its gonna be great to drive it around the wonderful roads in Sweden, hehe...

I am thinking of bringing back a bunch of service parts, just to be a little bit prepared and keep her in good shape. I can bring back almost any size/weight of part, since I got a good part of my container free of space. Question is:

- what main parts & perhaps optional parts would you guys recommend me to buy here in the US and bring back to have as spare?

Thanks for all your input!

Brake parts like calipers, rotors and pads. They'll probably go for an arm and a leg in Europe. My .02.

anything heavy like rotors like previously suggested and the little annoying parts that seem to go, ei. headlight bulbs, and turn signal bulbs, and fuses (I don't know if European country's carry american sized bulbs or fuses), Tires are common every where, but maybe a rim or two if you hit a bad pot hole

Thanks, guys!

How about suspension parts (struts, springs etc)? Must be good to have as spare right, after driving many happy miles? :-)

Also, can I store oil filters/fuel filters for a longer period (like 6 months to 1 year) without them going bad?

Spare Parts

Having lived overseas for 13 years, 3 of those years with a Mustang, I can recommend the following:

1- At least one serpentine belt, and keep it in the car. Buy two if you can.
2- Water pump
3- Fuel pump
4- spare bulbs for all Lights, unless you are converting to the Euro lights.

And, pretty much everything else that was suggested

I would be a little wary about keeping the belts for more than 2-3 yrs they are made of rubber, my taurus belt went at 175,000miles and Power steering went out and it scared me to death
