Shaker 1000 Insanity

The last 2 days when I start my car in the morning, the shaker 1000 acts crazy, changing the disks back and forth for about 20-25 seconds, then stops and everything is back to normal.

Should I disconnect the battery to reset things?

I remember seeing some thread about something similar to this a while back, but it had more to do with the shaker going nuts and not stopping.

Thanks in advance.

My 500 did that when the battery took a dump. It cycles through the cds in the changer then goes "dead".

Is your battery bueno?

Mine, shaker 500, did this when the battery was almost dead.

Thanks.

It's the original battery. Everything appears fine, but I'll definitely keep an eye on it now.

Hell, winter is coming, so I should probably change it out.

I've heard a lot of people using trickle chargers when in storage. These cars seem to eat batteries. If its not a DD or will be in storage, a trickle charger is good insurance.

After my went to battery heaven. It wouldn't hold a full charge for more than two days.
