Seat back lever and battery issue gets a customer

Was sort of funny today. Have a regular customer, in their 50's, and one of their cars is an 05 V6. Well today we had to replace her failing ford battery, and her seat lever on the back of the seat.
I told her they are both really common issues with these cars. 30 bucks for that **** lever! Which Ford keeps in stock because they break all the time, lol.

My lame story for the day.

If you're referring to the lever on the top rear of the seats to fold them so people can sit in the back, holy crap that thing sucks. I need to replace my passenger one. SOMEONE needs to make an aftermarket billitt one or something. This plastic has got to go.

Mine doesn't get used much unless I am cleaning the back window.

The only use for the back seat is storing junk, maybe groceries, etc. if your trunk is full.
As for the plastic, too much, we are paying good money for vehicles, you think quality parts that will last would be the way to go.

Why would you bother with that lever in the back of the seat? Just reach over and grab the larger seat back adjustment handle near the thigh of the passenger/driver. It's the same adjustment as the aft lever.
