Rear End Noise

I've got a 06 GT(5 speed) and I've had it over 2 years.. And last week all of sudden I start hearing a wineding noise from the rear end... As I'm going down the road I can push in the clutch and it goes away. We put some grease in it.... But same noise... It doesn't slip, jerk, nothing but the noise. What could/can I do to fix. Any help or advice is very helpful. Thanks

My pinion bearing went out and at first it was a whine I could barely hear and then got worse , could be your pinion bearing.

Don't know for sure , but like I said mine went bad. At first I could only hear it when the windows were down and I was close to something , like a wall , but eventually it got quite loud. When they took the rear end apart the pinion bearing was shredded.
