This is my biggest concern since getting the car, and it just started happening about a week ago. When I start the car in the morning, and it's only happened in the morning, I hear a really loud rattle or vibration that seems to come from the central area of the dash. It stops after about 5 seconds, but it is pretty obnoxious. Anyone else have this and know what's causing it? I'll be visiting the dealer with this one.

the only thing that come to mind is the dash wiring might have become alittle lose or the panel itself...

Sounds like it may possibly be the missing bolts syndrome. Ford left out 2 bellhousing bolts on almost all manual trans GT's. I think they're the bottom 2 for the inspection plate. Others who've had theirs fixed can probably give more detail.
