Tell us if you have any rattle problems, and if so, where they are coming from. I have noticed a couple in my car. Every so often, the wind will beat the top against a crossbar on the roof, and it will rattle. It just started that at around 2000 miles, but it is a convertible, so I expect it. Another one I have is coming from somewhere in convertible workings near where the top latches on the passenger side. For the longest time, I had no idea where it was coming from. I thought maybe dash, seat, glove box, etc., then I realized the rattle moved to the back seat with the top down. I would love to have someone drive it so I could sit on the passenger side and figure out where it is coming from, but then that would require that I allow someone to drive the car.

I have some rattles that appear to come from the pass side/airbag area. I've removed the glove box and all wiring harnesses and such look good. Also maybe something in the speaker grille ?! Any ideas?

No rattles no where. Haha, nice grammer. Only time I get a rattle is when I wheel hop it really bad in the wet (it sounds like the top of the dash is going to fly off), but I shall soon put a stop to that with some BMR LCA's.

Last convertible I drove was an '87 Lebaron. Low miles, but wow, what a rattle trap! I could feel the body flex!

I've got one in the same area. Not extremely bad, seems to be worse when the interior/dash is cold for some reason.

Sometimes the passenger seat rattles when I go over bumps if no one is in the seat. I've also had a slight buzz in the dash passing 2100 rpm at times. Both come and go. Really that's it, the car is remarkably quiet.

I do get some buffeting on my top, but not the rattle you described. Mostly I get buffeting if there is an 18 wheeler in front of me.

only rattle comes from the front, i think some ball joints arent greased or sumn's worn out is all...don affect driveability at all just has an ackward sound when i hit small bumps

then again, that being the ONLY rattle after 22k hard-driven miles is a testament to this car

No rattles, shakes, noises, vibrations, etc.

I have been selling Fords for almost 24 years and have owned so many I can not keep track. This is one of the finest cars I have owned.

I had an intermittent rattle from the front of the dash (right by the inspection sticker) folded some thin black foam rubber and used a long thin screwdriver to push it down between the window and dash (can't see it)....fixed.

My passenger seat has a "erp!" (not to be confused with "eryp") whenever someone gets in or out of it.

OBTW. Found out what will fix ANY squeak on a 2005 mustang....SLP Loudmouths....put a set of them on. All you can hear is car and air as it screams by.

Had a rattle in the driver's door. Took it to the dealer and they said the door handle mechanism wasn't screwed in tight. They said they also added some insulation around another area. Whatever they did, the door is tight now.

Occasionally, I'll hit a bump and somewhere around the glove box will rattle/vibrate.

The only other thing is when I really get on it, the high rpms...something in the front driver dash area vibrates, and the driver sub-woofer speaker grill will vibrate as well.

I've got that one too. Otherwise, I only get a little bit of dash rattle every now and then.

I have a rattle somewhere in the dash area and the sub area on the drivers door only when certain levels of bass are hitting. And of course a clunk in the auto trans and a popping in the struts and a clunking in the rear end but I LOVE HER REGARDLESS of her faults. I just can't part with her yet to take her to the shop.

I have dash rattles which I've pretty much resolved with foam between the windshield and the edge of the dash and foam between the driver's side pillar and the dash. The dash does creak with temperature changes.
