Passenger side rammed into
Passenger side rammed into
My mustang was parked outside my apartment building and the next day when i left my house i found it on the padestian walk. Someone had rammed into it hard.... It was driving like it was going ovet big rocks or boulders and upon inspection i could see that the control arm was bent so I replaced the control arm and it improved the condition and atleast got the tire to be straight again but its still wobbles or something on that side like its going over rocks... What else may be the problem?
Welcome to the forums!
Sorry you came here under this circumstance but glad to have ya visit nonetheless.
If it moved the car around, I suspect there's much more wrong than a control arm. These cars are made to bend on purpose so you don't have to. Literally. So any hit is going to probably bring more into question than a hard part. There is a somewhat long list of things that given your description could be the culprit(s). And while I could speculate it being a cracked knuckle, warped/cracked/busted rotor, bad strut, messed up strut tower and/or mount, bad sway bar link or sway bar, bent/cracked frame rail, bent sub frame, something else that I can't figure out from *waaaay* over here... the prudent course of action is to take it to a collision center (nee body shop) where they can put the frame on the rack and get it trued, inspect and/or replace parts as needed, get it properly aligned, and then you'll be ok.
Otherwise, we'll simply be guessing at best and maybe we hit it, maybe we don't, but 'don't' means lots of extra time and money you can put to better use.
I hope that helps, even if it's not the answer you wanted. Good luck!

A hit in the side hard enough to move the car sideways off the parking lot and onto a pedestrian walk likely bent more than a control arm and I don't think one would be driving it around. Axles often get bent like that.
Reads a lot more like a tipsy driver run it up on the walk after a night of partying, comes out next day with a foggy memory to find the results. No accident report by police investigating a hit and run so no insurance fix so trying to get by with just a control arm.

Not really much more that can be said which has already been posted, but hopefully there isn't any frame nor structural damage involved that's going to cost more than what the car is worth.
As previously mentioned, your not really going to know for certain until a collision center looks over your vehicle's sub frame components and suspension.
Meanwhile, for what it's worth, welcome to the forums and wish you nothing but the very best with your Mustang.
