Sweet, good luck with that Michael. If only I lived in the area....I'd get some buddies and picket the darn dealership every Saturday until my demands were met.

Ah yes saw this one coming. Ford found a loop hole and I'm going to be taking avantage of. According to South Carolina lemon Law after the case has been filed. They get a last attempt to repair the car. If they fix it the whole thing falls through. :bang:

I'll have a car that isn't worth the spit casue if you pull up a Carfax report you can see everything that was done to it. I couldn't sell it if I wanted too.

Pain & Suffering , it does not make any sense at all that Ford would be that way but the Dealer , that's just bad buisness for Ford to replace its not that big a deal. If you don't mind I had a freind look in here and read up on it ( from Ford ).

I've never seen a CarFax report with anything other than Collision History (that was reported) and mileage indicators. A CarFax will show a Buy-Back regardless of how it came about (Lemon Law / Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act / Arbitration)...

Hopefully they get your car back on it's wheels with all the issues resolved. The Lemon Law doesn't always work even when you truly have a lemon on your hands.

Huh you have a friend who workes for Ford?

If so tell him to print this out and give to Mr. Ford himself. Maybe I'll get a GT or something. For all the pain they have caused me.

Ah a boy can dream can't he. Oh by the way I meant the Ford GT not a Mustang GT. If you going to dream you might as well dream big.

Yes, same in TN. Even though it only has to be in the shop three or more times for the same problem to qualify as a lemon, they still can get one more chance regardless.

After you notify Ford in writing requesting a buy back or vehicle swap, they have one last chance to make it right, only then are they out of chances.

Sounds like its the same in SC.

Keep us updated on the progress.

I hope the dealer/Ford will be contacting you soon. They're still jerks to say the least, and I doubt anybody who reads this topic will buy any vehicle, new or used, from this dealership.

Plameto Ford called me today and they still havn't fixed the car yet. They are now replacing the motor mounts and tranny mounts again.

BBB Auto line has contacted me and set up a Arbitration hearing for sometime in January. There I will state my case. Hopefully they agree to buy back the car. Which I have a feeling they won't.

At that point I'm sure I'll have to sue Ford.

Sue those @#$%ing bastardos silly, if for no other reason than to make an example of them. And if they refuse to settle out of court to your satisfaction, and you have to go to court, make certain you immediately launch a negative PR campaign against them and write a letter to Bill himself. Just clear your desk and become their biggest nightmare.

The whole thing makes me mad just thinking about it.

Man, I hate to read about all these problems you've been having. I feel really bad for you that you have not been able to enjoy your new mustang. It looks really bad on Ford that they haven't just given you a new one. It's not as if there is a shortage of them or anything! Hopefully things will work out for you in the new year and you'll get the car you wanted - a working mustang!

No Ford is just as bad. The dealership wiped their hands of me since day one and kept referring me to Ford. I've been talking with the Customer service manger for the South East and she will not give me a new car. Ford is the one fighting me. They have the power to make things right but they insist on fixing the car. They rather just give the car back to me with everything replaced then do what is right and replace it..

When I go to the arbitration hearing it will be me vs. Ford not the dealership. By the way I'm no way defending the dealership they have been just as guilty. Both parties had a chance to make this right.

Not sure I'm sure they will call me back on that. They can call me right now and tell me to go to a dealersip I'm sure I'll find one that will work.

I'm glad to hear everything worked out, and Ford did the right thing and make its customers (that talk to others potential customers) happy.
