hi guys, i have a 2008 mustang gt and the battery in it is dead so ive been using the battery from my f150 to jump it. well today i was in a rush and hooked up the jumper cables backwards and smoke started coming from inside the dash on the driver side. the fuel gauge no long works and even if i press info it says 0 miles to e. did i fry the gauge? what else might it have been. the car still starts and drives fine.
