Cruise Control Problem...any ideas?

I just noticed that for some unknown reason my cruise control will not come on when my car is cold.....when I first start it up and head down the road in the morning it takes about 10 minutes of driving before I can turn the control on and have it work. I haven't noticed any other problems such as moisture, fuses, or other electrical problems but am totally stumped. Has anyone had this happen or know about a TSB or recall of any kind?

I dunno, but just a quick check:
when it acts up, shut it off and see if it will crank without the clutch pushed...could be stuck switch...also verify brakelights arent sticking on...would check them both immediately after confirming the cruise wont come on, hopefully just a sticky switch. not sure what else interlocks the cruise.
