Clunk / bang when taking off

I get a clunk on my '07 GT/CS 5 speed. It sounds like it is in front of the driver side rear wheel. Could it be the traction bar? If I hit the gas to take off it is a quicl clunk / bang, there are no vibrations just the bang, could it be the bushing? I am bringing it to the Ford dealer on Wed. but just looking for some advise.

Thanks

****Update***

So the car spent the day at the Ford Dealer and they said that "everything" was tight so they lubed all of the bushings and the noise is normal. Well when you take off there is still a clunk and if you hit the brakes hard there is also a clunk. Not sure could it be the u-joint, traction bar? Or do I bring it to another Ford dealer?

I'd take it to another dealer. Make sure they don't rule out checking the brakes as well.

The two piece drive shaft is noisy, plus remember the hydro motor mounts allow the drive train to rotate in the tunnel more than most would prefer.

Yeah. Sounds a lot like the sloppy sounding drivetrain.

Try going slow in second or third then goose the throttle off and on quickly. Hear that? Is that it?

I hear it at different times, backing up there may be a bang or when taking off. To me it sounded like a traction bar issue since I hear it in reverese or 1st and sometimes 2nd. After my 2week vacation on the road (w/o my stang ) i will bring it to another dealer.
