Car jolting forward

Hi. I own a 2005 Roush mustang and I had a question. One day I was driving it and it randomly jolted forward a few times (I was in 5th gear when it happened). It hasn't done it since but it worried me a little. Any ideas? I don't just want to take it in and have them do a full diagnosis if it isn't needed.
Sorry if this a stupid question.
