Battery Box?

Anyone using a battery box to hide theirs?
I can't see spending $50 for a plastic plate to hide my battery when a battery box costs less than half that and actually does more than hide it.
The problem I have is they categorize them as "Series 27" or "Series 24-31" and such. I can't seem to find out what series our batteries are.

Can anyone help?

To clarify:
I am not looking to relocate the battery to the trunk (although) that might be an idea for later, especially If I decide to track it) I just want to contain/hide the ugly beast.

Something like this:

Camco 55362 RV Standard Battery Box : Amazon.com : Automotive Camco 55362 RV Standard Battery Box : Amazon.com : Automotive

is what I was hoping to use. Then I can spray paint it or leave it black.

I don't have anything against the guys who make the battery/master cylinder covers I have seen. I just don't think $2 worth of molded plastic should cost $90+

Thanks for the input skoundrel, 60+ people read it but had no comment (surprising at this place).
The problem is, I really don't want to spend $100+ for this when I have a brand-new battery.
I can get a battery box and rattle-can it (I found a close match for vista blue metallic) if I can make it fit.
Was hoping SOMEONE had done this. Really surprised if no one has. I guess I will have to do some really precise measuring to see.
Spent today cleaning and shining for a visit to the folks for lunch tomorrow. Maybe after that, if it is still light (and warm enough).
