Automatic making terrible noise when pulling up hill

Ok....about a week ago my Auto GT started making a terrible klunking noise like metal banging on metal going up the very steep grad on the mountain I live on....everyday it has gotten worse......it sounds like the rear end is falling out......anyone else had this or heard of it,.......it goes to the dealer today and I need to know if anyone else has had this problem....it only has 2300 miles on it.

I have a problem that sounds like it could be related: In forward or reverse, starting slowly from stop (usually under 1,000 rpm) I can feel and hear a grinding and vibration from the rear end. It happens most noticeably under load, like starting from stop, going up a hill, with the wheel turned. I can’t tell if is from the transmission, the rear axle assembly or the brakes. If the car had limited slip I would guess that it was the clutch pack.
