Auto Drop Window Not working Properly
I had this issue crop up the other day and not sure how to fix it. For some reason the auto drop window feature on my driver side door stopped working. I found that I could re-calibrate it and it looked like it was going to work but its not. Before I calibrated it it didn't work at all. After I calibrated it the window would drop like its suppose to but that would only last for a couple seconds and then it would pop all the way up before I could close the door. Not sure where to look
Here is my post about this issue on Facebook. I'm referencing this because I have a video of the issue that I was unable to post here. I hope this works: https://www.facebook.com/groups/s197mustangs/posts/3306160059537797/?comment_id=3306166502870486&reply_comment_id=3307003962786740¬if_id=1756198598606897¬if_t=group_comment |
So much for the video. After some more searching it looks like it could be the sensor attached to the door latch. Anyone had to deal with this issue? Replacement part number ???

Would this video help? The sensor he's replacing deals with the window and the "door ajar" notification. He also has one video on the recalibration, but yoyu stated you did that.. I bet KC can help with the part #...

Switch replaced, and life is back to normal. It was getting crazy with the window dancing (up and down, up and down), the alarm for the Door Ajar going off all the time and the alarm going off in the middle of the night.

Glad to see problem was solved.
