I had to disconnect my battery to change the stereo in my 2005 GT. anyone know how to reset thing

 

Did You Forget To Plug in the TCS Switch??? Try Your Hazards. If They Don't Work It's Likely Unplugged. Or it May Not Be Plugged in all the Way!~

yes, Hazzard light work, TCS light is on on the switch as well as the dash, the same thing happened when I changed the battery on my wife's Mazda , which had a reset procedure,

 

Perhaps a Blown Fuse!

Just an Fyi, I Have a Dodge Truck That Sits a Lot And The Abs Light Comes on After a Bit of a Sit and As Soon as I Drive it and Apply the Brakes and Then Turn Off & Restart The Light Goes Off. Had a Ranger Pu Back in the Day That Did The Same Thing.

Usually Disconnecting The Battery is The Reset Not the Opposite! Go Figure!

I Have a Lot of Knowledge on the S-197's But With My Health Issues Sometimes My Files Go Askew and I have to Wait Till I Wake Up in The Middle of The Night and Go Oh I Forgot About That Concern Fix and it Comes Back To Me!

thank you, I most certainly will, I was a Ford mechanic back when ODB 2 Just came in, so this fourm is a blessing for us Car obsessed folks. My wife keeps telling me to just get a new one, obviously she doesn't understand, lol!

 

I Started in 1985 as A Pup FORD Partsman When The Last 4v Carburetor 5.0 Mustang Was Made. Had Two Back in the Day! Also I Weathered The Nefarious VV Carb Fun with Disgruntled Customers! I Got an 80 Crown Vic With Just 26K on Her And The VV Went The Way of The California Smog Legal Holley!

The S-197-S are Tech Enough For Me! I'm Done. My 07 Gt-500 Has 34K And Will Serve Me Till I Can't Shift Anymore! The Wife's 02 Hd-F150 Supercharged is The Same For Her!

My first car was an 84 mustang LX with the 5.0 4 bbl carb, I was in my last year of tech school and I sure practiced my future career on that car. By today's standards it was a simple engine to work on. I put on ported heads, higher lift cam ,re-jetted the carb even put switches so I could turn off all the lights in the rear of the car so if I got caught racing, the police couldn't see my lights. 3 years later my then girlfriend wrapped it around a tree, she was ok, but my baby was totaled. I learned a lot on that car, man I miss those days
