Hey guys, new to forum, new to S197, not new to cars. During my swap from nasty and abused 2005 gt manual trans, to cherry 2006 gt auto, everything matched up the same pretty much, however there is a connector basically right at knees of driver, that is not on the 2005. Trying to verify what that is for and if I need to tap into the 2005's harness etc. Any help.would be amazing!
very helpful thank you! I believe you are right. I'm not trying to heat my seats, only thing i might need is NSS wiring tap in the event this thing needs a closed position to start the car. You are amazing for these ! Thanks again!

Same connector, w/different
wiring colors, but this one runs up to my knees right below steering column. ..
Also What Connector is That With the Thick Wiring Off to the Left??? Is It For RCM??
Pics Need To Be Pulled Back For Better Reference As To Locate in Scheme of Things.
Also Not Clear On What Exactly You Did?? Took Dash & Wiring Out of 05 Stick & Replaced With Used 2006 Auto Dash & Wiring or Was Trans Swapped?? Not Quite Clear on That.
Also Be Advised Wiring Harnesses Do Often Have Extra Plugs Unused When a Certain Option in Not on Car.

swapped an 06s interior(auto) into my 05 gt (manual). The whole dash assembly, heater control assembly, steering column etc. Heres a pic of the stripped down 06 to answer any sub harness question and I propped to culprit connector draped over steering shaft...
Ok, I Had a Feeling about The Wiring That it Maybe Newer Than You Thought! Your Picture Bears That Out. The 7R33 Prefix Indicates a Part Produced in 2007. See Floor Styrofoam and Wiring Harness Tag. Also Some 08 Parts Would Be 7R Prefix as Well. The 08's Had The Ambient Console Lighting Which May Come into Play! I Had Already Started Down that Path!
Another Shot of Same Harness As Lying But Of Transmission Hump Would be Helpful!

I Don't Suppose You Have Donor Cars Vin???
Tell Me If Your New Dash Has The Tabs On the Bottom Center Of Dash On Both Sides. As Per Center of Glove Box Bottom. as Shown on these Pics. I Wish the First Pic Was Not Blurred Looks Like Your Plug.
My cell is 808 304 3880. If easier to communicate via text. I've got a couple other questions as well lol. I'll get the Vin of the 06 once I get back to house.
Long Story Short Op Has 05 Mustang and Bought Parts Car Seller Said Was 06. Op Had Installed Dash & Harness Not Knowing it Was 07. 07's Due To Changes Such as Aux Input For Radio Had Some Wiring Pin Differences and Would Have Required a Lot of Back Tracking. Car Would Not Start With 07 Harness. Op Reinstalled 05 Harness and Car Started First Time. 07 Car Was Purchased For Mint Interior for 05 Car!
Note to Viewers, Bottom Line Be Advised When Using a Used Wiring Harness That You Need To Stick with Same Year Like Equipped Car if Possible. This Was Under Dash Harness Only.
