Haven't seen a video clip yet, but WAAY TV does have a slide presentation on their website - - scroll down left side of main page and look for Parade Photos - - interesting that the slide presentation is in reverse order - - it starts at the end of the parade.

Glad I disconnected my battery when I got home, I had left my parking lights on....

Enjoyed it, but the 4 hour wait before the parade actually started, kind of spoiled it for me.... doubt if I do it again.

I used to do lots of parades when I was younger. I have been through much worse weather. Think of the folks sitting on the sidelines. That is the reason I love doing parades. When you wave to them and they wave back and tell you Merry Christmas and get to see the children's faces, that is what makes it all worthwhile to me.

I'm sure somehow that the weather, the wait, the (fill in the blank) is my fault. I agree with Puter, these things are fun! I love the crowds and them saying "nice cars" and "Merry Christmas". FYI, the parade will be televised on Channel 31 on Christmas....not sure about other days/times.

Got a note from Diane who said Sam broke down again after Applebees. She picked him up on the side of the road and took him to get a new battery and then took his wife home. All is well. Kudos and much appreciation for helping out a fellow member!

 

I enjoyed it. (think i rode the clutch a little to much ). Definantly not revving my engine as much next time lol. And was that the whole problem with sam? Thats better than an alternator problem or something.

 

hello all ...i ran plumb out of juice in that battery....an made it over the mt there into hampton cove ...safe into a office parking lot..there beging to walk to walmart ...got the ride an then as my wife was taken home ..i put in the NEW battery ...an was up an running to da house ....now i just need a new alt an the cash back for the new battery.......an yes! ty for all the much given help ....we all need 2-way's to keep in touch ....for times such as i had!!!! see yall al at the Christmas party !!!!!

 

Ok ! about the parade....i always have soo much fun ..this is why i built my car ..for the fun of it all ..i thank yall all for letting me be in this club... never been in much ..in life but i do lov this ill be there again next year an all that follow ...about my car ...everbody ..all that was wrong was my alt went badd an i was not fully aware of it ...my wife lisened to the raido as she sat ......so that did not help us none ....i will have a new alt asap....an still this stuff never get's me down ..i lov my stang an will walk again if i had tooo ...........so this was just to let yall know all is well an all will stay that way !!!

My alt went out right after I fixed the clutch. It still isn't completely fixed, but it is driveable.

 

i didn't break down, Sam did aka nos 4 u luckily he was saved by a fellow rcmc member!

as soon as he pulls off the alternator and brings it to me i will have him on the road again

 

Sam, you have got to be the most fun and resiliant member I've seen. You've got a story for everything! LOL We (RCMC) are glad you are part of the club and look forward to your participation in your newly-alternatored, ball-hanging 'Stang......
