Tail of the Dragon

How many of you would be interested in doing an extended cruise to the Tail of the Dragon? Click on the link for more info: http://www.tailofthedragon.com

There are also other touring roads including the Moonshiner 28, Devil's Triangle, Diamondback, Cherohala Skyway, and Six Gap North Georgia.

I drove on the Dragon once. It was at night. I do not think there is one straight piece of road on that beast of a road. It had so many curves back to back that it made my friend car sick. Thankfully he had a large cup and we pulled over a few times. The only way out is to turn around and go back.

Last year I wanted to go back but it was closed due to falling rocks. If you ever get a chance to go, you should experience these roads for yourself.

Deb & I drove the Dragon & the Cherohala Skyway back in 2006. I enjoyed it, Deb not so much. The Dragon really needs to driven during the week when traffic is not that bad. I'm game to do it again as I'm sure Christina would be to as long as she can get off work.

Im in!!!!! When!!!!318 curves in 11 miles.. i heard that an engineer measured the road and there is a curve every 70ft.. i have been on 129 several times on a motorcycle but only in a car once.. a 98GT,,you never get out of second gear..speed limit is 25,,its highly enforced by tenn hiway patrol(read troopers)be sure u have your insurance card with u.if you get pulled over and dont have insurance u cant drive your car anymore.i know second gear seems slow,,but most of the curves are so sharp you will have a blast at 25.
