can anyone tell me what brands i should be looking at for a good replacment for the 67, i kind of broke my stock shifter and it is all floppy now,

i know the el cheapo ones will destroy a trans so i want something good

 

is`nt the shifting mechanisn kinda built into the trans .. you mean you broke your handle ..

 

I'd go for the steeda tri-ax, I've heard good things on MGW as well.

 

I have a t5 trans from an 88 gt in my 1967 mustang,

so the shifter is not permanently contected to the trans

 

Thev steeda tri axes are supposed to be good like Jake said. The hurst shifters are very good too. thats what I had in my 68

 

I have a Hurst, actually broke the handle, but people swear by the Pro 5.0.

 

I've had Steeda TriAx and Pro 5.0. Either is fine.
