T-5 Clutch
This is great. Today i changed my oil in my 68 and took it for a spin to let it warm up and stuff. I barely get out of the neighborhood and the **** thing starts grinding gears on me. I then learned that the clutch was now engaging where it meets the floor so i have no freeplay at all. At the moment i cant shift without slamming it into gear and i definantly cant down shift unless the car is COMPLETLY stopped. Any suggestions on what i should do?

Alex, what if it is the cable like I described? You will have done all the work and money to put in a new clutch and would still have the problem.
Have a helper. Press on/off the clutch while they watch the cable. It should not move. Also take off the cover on the T5 and watch the fork. It should move a few inches.
Please check this first before buying a clutch. An FMS cable is only ~$45.

Finally got a chance to climb under the 68. This is what I found. The picture sucks but it gives some detail. The guy who had it before me tied the clutch bushing together with zip ties. It ripped even more, so i added another zip tie for a temporary fix but the clutch still didnt change.
