Stolen 33 Ford

Don Hampton's.

That's terrible. I hope they catch the scumbags.

The most notable thing about the trailer is that is has triple axles, which is very rare for a 24 footer.

Yup.

Btw, what does a thief do w/a one of a kind "hot" hotrod? Seems kind of self-defeating. You can't sell the car as a whole, and the upgrade parts are unique, so there easily tracable.

Ship it overseas as a whole. Prolly worth a fortune.

Good point! There's a huge market out there. But it's not like a Range Rover or 400sc. Who ever buy this thing really wants to have it, and has the money to buy it.

Plus, it's high profile. I can picture the new owner's face after he finds out it's stolen. This happens a week after he shows it at a car show, or is interviewed by a magazine.

All in all, I just don't think the thieves thought this one through. I guess that's why they take other peoples property for a living- no brains (or morals, or scruples).
