Sick 65 GT
Sick 65 GT
Finally got the old beast "street-worthy". Still had a little valve-tap(I think). One day, the noise got worse, then I started trailing white smoke. Stabled it, after that. Cranking the car is still no more difficult than it ever was. Smoking does not begin, right away; only after a warm up. Very repeatable.
This car was bought, with original engine, in '72, maybe. The engine was rebuilt, in a few years, due to driver negligence. I married the car in 1980 and it has had no major engine work, since. So, I believe it is the original 289 block.
Yes, I am looking for a healer.

What he said,
This sounds like more repair than I should attempt.
