You're joking, right? American 200S are some of the most collectible vintage wheels out there and will remain that way for years to come. I doubt "fanblades" will do the same...

I really don't like fanblades. I like the bullitt rims.

Yeah, LMan, they really let the "calapers" show through...

Hey, I'm a vintage guy. I don't know anything about the -197s and probably won't learn.

It's 1970 and earlier for me!

Fanblades are the 2nd cheapest rims for the GT. Best looking rim out for GT is Bullitts.

Ok. We have 1 side done on the drop. The other side is being done tomorrow. I thought the shelby "drop" was supposed to drop the car. Not drop just the UCA and move the whole front end up 1". Because now my car sits up 1 inch higher than before. But we also replaced the shock with a new 1.

it actually just changes the position of the upper control arm, you know dropping it down 1 inch, but it does not lower the car at all ! it is more of a performance enhancing mod than looks

It didn't lower my car it raised it. Hopefully it will level out once we do the other side. If not we just wasted time. Then I will have to get new absorbers for the rear and get the leaf springs rebent(if I feel like having this done).

Victory!!! We finished the drop around 5:30 or so. The front measured 27 inches high from the middle of the fender arc. Well after we took it for a spin around the neighborhood I noticed a difference. Went and got the Tape measure and the front end now measures 25 inches high!!!

Front- 25in.
Rear- 25 1/2 in.

We might replace the rear shocks not sure yet. Post new pics tomorrow after I get off work.

Well we find out tomorrow if the mustang is getting new rims. The auction we are watching ends at 1:23. Right now it looks like they will stay at $50.

Your rims will cost you about 200+ depending on what you get. That isn't counting tires. Most of the time it is 350+. Just have to find the right place.
