For Sale: 97 cobra

well, im in the market for a newer mustang, but first i need to get rid of my 97. It's a 1997 svt cobra with 63.xxx K miles I have a carbon fiber hood and the stock one, stock wheels and a set of cobra R's both with tires, steeda tri ax short throw shifter and stock shifter, cold air intake with stock intake, flowmaster exhaust with dumps, i have the stock tips, and a 95 cobra spoiler. also more odds and ends. also i have a 75 shot of NX never sprayed only purged. im am asking 12k.

Jon, not to bust you're bubble, but you're not going to get 12 out of your car.......I didn't pay 12 for mine in 01.

Putting your info into Edmonds.com, I came up with $6,092. That was with all options listed and estimating the condition as average for a Retail listing. You can get a little more for the wheels, but I think most buyers would prefer the stock hood, so don't expect a gold mine for it.

Looking at KBB.com I came up with $8,620, listed as average under Private party value. The reason for the Private Party Value instead of retail, was that retail assumes a excellent condition. I didn't list it as excellent because of the things you have posted about.

eh i didnt think so lol, just checkin on wut i could get, i really dont want to get rid of it i have just been dreaming of the terminators. eh oh well. thanks anyways.

ive had offers of 9 before i was guna say 10 because most people try to talk you down lol, but i dont think i could sell the 97 but im going to have to get a daily driver if i keep it.

yeah i think the best you are going to do is around $9k. 99 cobras can be had for 11k-12k

my 99 with a built solid axle new tranny, JLT etc brand new tires brakes and full exhaust I let go for 12,000 wish I would have kept it, she was running low 13 on a bad prepped surface...she was quick....if I could get this one to do the same it would rule!
