Where is the Stang bone-yard these days. There used to be one out in Arab but I spent all day looking for it and never found it. I have hopes of finding a rolling chassis that is worth bringing back to life.

We (Gullatts) are opposite of a "bone yard". We rescue distressed Mustangs and put them back together. Been a lot of confusion over that over the years. Just about every old Mustang we purchased over the years are/were missing most of the major components or stripped. It has taken a long time to collect the parts to put them back together.
help MR wizzard
i dont want a thread on it .. i have built a 351 windsor late model california engine so i hear ... it had the distributor signal at the crankshaft.. i deleted all that and went back to a regular elec ign of late 70`s vintage .. problem is the engine will not perform at all at a normal initial distrubitor timing setting ..set the timing high enuff to run and it wont start.( kicks back like too high ) .. i thought perhaps the timing chain was dif on a later engine so i got an older gear 69- 84 or so ... it fits just the same so it will not change anything.. but it does offer 4 degrees of advance before and after which does change the cam location .. which setting do i need to use to liven up the engine .. it has edlebrock alum heads and a 292 comp cam .. not much more .. stock bottom
