Cool New to the forum

Just wanted to intro myself to the group. I am a total Ford nutjob. We moved down here last year from the D.C. area, and live in Union Grove.
I just bought an '83 Mustang LX T-top 5.0/5 spd.
Needs a bunch of work, but I always wanted T-tops. I was actually looking for a 5 spd T-bird, but I stumbled across the stang, and drug it home. I have to replace the top seals, as they leak like the Titanic. That caused the floors to rust out, so they will be replaced 1st. It runs strong, but won't hold idle (it sat for 4 years). Previous owner changed the header panel to a '91, so I'm looking for an '83 complete header panel to put back on. I'm also working on my '78 Ranchero GT custom. This has been a long term project show car. Frame and underbody/under hood has all been blasted, 1 coat of epoxy primer, and 2 coats of black urethane. I'm using a '76 Torino Elite header panel, hood and tailgate have 250 louvers cut into them, and it's getting a 460/C-6. Interior will be completely custom.
Check out my album pics of other Fords I've had.

Welcome from Flintville Tennessee. I'm sure you are already enjoying the area, traffic can get a little busy at times in Huntsville, but nothing like DC's mess. Looks like the quarter windows have been changed too. I've got several early FOX parts cars you can pick parts off of. Would that have the waffle grille in the bumper? Get with me when it warms up a little. kennyg

Think he is saying that he has a 83 mustang with a 93 front end setup and he is looking for a 83 front setup. I could be wrong though.

Welcome to the club... Its nice to have another early fox car in the bunch. Do you plan to convert it back to 1983 front clip and quarter windows.

Yep, it's an 83 with a 93 front. That means the hood is 93 also.

83 and 84 were the same. Look for either year. And you need side moldings, unless you like that look.

Welcome to the forum!

Yep, it's an 83 with a 87-93 bumper and hood. T-top is rare.

83 and 84 are the same with the waffle grille. 85-86 had the open grille. Hoods from 83-86 will fit. Also need the side moldings.

Welcome to the forum!

Thanks for all the welcomes! Yes it is an '83 with '91 nose and hood. PO claimed he changed it because he liked the newer look. I think he wrecked the front end and added this stuff then? I do want to return the front back to original, (or close). I already got a set of wheels and some tires for it, went with 15X8 Prime aluminum wheels and Cooper Cobra tires-225/60R15. Got the wheels for $100 and the tires for $100. I'm going with a rear seat delete and a set of 2000 Mustang GT seats-$150.
Here's some pics of the 'chero somebody asked for:
