A friend of mine found a 03 Mach 1 with 30,000 miles on it. The price is good but he ran the initial Carfax and found 29 reports on the car. I am trying to see if someone has an open account so I can save him some money. Let me know and I will PM you the VIN. Thanks.

How much is a Carfax report? Does the dealer selling it not offer the report? Go to a dealer with an account and offer them 50 % of the one time price to run it for you. kennyg

A Carfax report is only $25 for one or $30 for one month unlimited. He's going to go ahead and buy the report himself.

He just pulled the report. Four owners, one person for 14 months and the rest for 4-6 months. The rest of the time it has been in the dealership or in auction. I went to auction in IL 8 times.

 

If that's not a posterchild for Carfax, I haven't seen one. Run away.
