Comming from overseas, they do mod day's where people can come out, meet and greet and work on their cars all together, people who don't have mods can help with other's mods and give their advice. etc.....it's usually an all day event starting on a saturday (gives sunday if your mod will take a little longer.)

last year in about 6 hours I changed my lincolns KB blower, alternator, lowerintake gaskets, valve cover gaskets, converted to MAF, installed 38 lb injectors, 75 MM TB and EGR plate, installed electric fan conversion
and fixed throttle cable binding and a bent pedal from trying to force the cable free.



just thought it would be a good idea for everyone interested, we are in the process of buying a house right now but won't have much space otherwise I'd offer our property up for a location, I'd say the craft shop, but if you ask workman or anyone who's been over seas, their craft shops are so much nicer, 10 bays open, 8 with lifts 2 drive on lifts and LOTS of tools as well as paint booths.

does anyone know a shop owner or something, or do you think we could get the craft shop to have all the bays open for us only that day if we can get a certain amount of interest? I intend to get my own shop built in the next 2 years. or so.

anyway....just a thought....has this been tried? how'd it go?

I have no mods but I do have a good amount of experience and lots of tools to help with.

 

Phil, I had mentioned this in an earlier post. I think a few might be interested, but unlike germany where everyone pretty much has the same schedule, I think alot of people have trouble getting together at the same time.

But I'm down for one if we do it.
