Keeping it off the streets is a great idea.

I wonder what running until 2am is going to do the public relations and the longevity of the track???

Also, don't understand the "trailered car is free" thing. So, if I throw my car on a trailer, I don't have to pay anything???

That sounds like an opportunity. Someone with vision and money should buy up some farmland adjacent to the airport or the highway, and put in a 1/4 mile strip.

Where's all the Street Performers with late models that have been tweaked? $15 is a whole lot cheaper than a moving violation. Maybe the club could post a $ award for the fastest RCMC Stang, with sticker, at the event. Bring your time slip to the next meeting, or better yet post it here. You got 4 days to get ready. kennyg

555s, as in the street tires? If so, the track didn't suck, the tires did.

no the track still sucked, no reason for me to break loose in 2nd and then have a little spin in 3rd.

I started thinking about why...and then i remembered the asphalt is porous and all that trash so it'll hold water well...so that equals no traction

but watching the ricer hit 3rd gear before the 60ft was quite enjoyable
