Suppose this an open show, with no classes, i.e., no Mustang classes.

wrong. i just came from there and talked to a manager. basically, they'll have ford, chevy, etc. classes with sub categories of pre-79 and 80+. special awards for best, original/stock, and show extreme (think bling, add-on etc). probably more but that's the basics. also, the judging is fairly standard (interior, exterior, engine, etc). really just a fun day with a chance to win an award and/or door prizes. oh yeah....so there is no "mustang class" nor any other model.

Since I can't figure out how to insert photos here, I won't.
There were probably 40 cars at the Hooters' Show, right Mike?
Two cars in the 1979 and earlier class; most of the cars were from the Alabama Customs and Classics Club; they have the photos up on their web site.
Enjoyable day.

27 total entries. Good get-together though. I think most folks went to Ardmore or bailed due to possible rain. I think I counted 5 raindrops. Most were happy with the outcome. The key is they raised money for their cancer charity which I found out was matched by corporate.

Manager said he's going to host an "All-Ford and/or Mustang" show later this Fall. He's done the same for Vettes, bikes, etc.

I like Hooters......

So, guess someone needs to volunteer to go to Hooters on a regular basis to recon and find out when the All Ford show is - any volunteers?
