I dont think i introduced myself on this part of the forum so here it goes.
I live in Decatur,i have a 66 mustang im restoring. I had it on ebay but decided i just could not part with it,so here i am.Ive decided im going to join the RCMC and i was wondering do you guys ever do anything in Decatur?

We do stuff wherever someone plans it. If there's a car related activity or nice cruise through Decatur, and you want to put it together, we'll do it.

I am not a Decatur guy, but as Mark said, if you know of something, let the president know. If you want to coordinate something, there are lots of folks to give advice in that area.

If you notice, next weekend is some awesome racing in B'ham. You can get in free if you register your car for the car show.
You can also work for points to drive your car on the track.

Also coming up is the annual Valley Vettes and RCMC rally.

I work at the Sears Auto Center in Decatur and one other employee and i started a car show at our location this year. I hope we can keep it going and do it every year.This was our first and it was 100 degrees outside but we had about 65 cars show up and a lot of lookers. I was happy with the result.
Im just saying we may need some back up next year.

 

Believe we have close to 70 registered members.

I'm from Hartselle. The club has attended the cruise-in at Steak-n-Shake a few times.

 

Yeah i noticed you put it on Ebay. Once you get one you really cant let it go.

When is the next Steak n Shake cruizzzze in?

 

Looks like it is over for this year. Should start back up next summer.
