getting my rearend in gear(s)

I am getting some new gears for my stang (4.10's) and my question is this. Anybody know a good place to get the swap done (Ford dealer is a bit spendy) and is there any diff between say, FRPP and Motive and others like them. I don't see that much in price but I hear the ford stuff is quieter than aftermarket. True?

Don't even bother looking elsewhere. Andy is the best in town.

Andy of Andy's Mustang and Auto repair installed mine. I highly recommend him. I don't remember his number , but it has been posted on here before.

Give Deron Shady a call at 859-1969, you'll have to leave a message but make sure you say Skip told you to call. Leave a number and he'll call you back or he might even pick up. He's working on my car now and has been working on Mustangs for years.

thanks guys...it seems there was a quite a price difference in the labor rates of these gentlemen and quite a bit of diff in opinion over what is the best gear ratio....dangit I hate being talked out of a made up mind. Anyway, I think I found my guy thanks to your help and now i just have to make sure that 4.10 is better for me than 3.73

Theres a place called Checkers Auto Body on Mastin Lake i believe. They are working on my 68 right now doing some finishing touches on a suspension job I did, and their puting on new brakes. They are fairly cheap, and they seem to be doing a good job!

Heres the number: 1-256-489-0962
